How do I increase recording volume on the Helix Board FireWire?
Posted by Rick Shao on 16 November 2015 06:36 AM

The easiest way to increase the volume sent through the firewire connection to your computer is to adjust the Record Out trim control on the mixer. This also adjusts the output level of the Firewire signal. We hope this has been informative, and if you have any further questions, please dont hesitate to contact us again and well be glad to help you out.

UPDATE: The latest Helix Boards (FireWire MKII and Universal) offer pre/post switches on every channel allowing users to change volumes with the channel faders. They also offer dedicated controls for adjusting the outgoing FireWire signal.
