Posted by Rick Shao on 16 November 2015 07:48 AM

The 64 bit-driver is available for download at http://phonic.box.net/. Be sure your computer system Windows XP SP1/SP2 or Windows Vista with all the latest updates. Please also follow the steps as below to check the FireWire connection:

  • Turn off all other application software, and re-install the driver. During installing the driver, please make sure you have clicked on the Finish button, before end of driver installation.
  • When running Cubase, please turn off other software to avoid any conflict.
  • If the problem is still existed, then it might be caused by the FireWire interface on the computer. Change another FireWire interface card might solve the problem. We would like to suggest using the following model of FireWire card for PC, ADS Pyro 64 FireWire card with a TI chip to connect your computer with the Helix Board to enjoy the high quality recording sound with lowest latency.
  • In Cubase LE, you may go to device/device setup and select the VST Multi-track, and select the Phonic Helix ASIO driver. If the FireWire disconnect, you may press down the reset button on this page, and re-select the Phonic Helix ASIO driver again to make it live again.
